Let's talk about your biggest concerns about family gatherings.

Getting together with relatives for holidays or events can be fun but also stressful–especially when kids are involved. Old family dynamics or newer differences in parenting styles can raise tension or create disagreements. Join Dr. Eileen for an informal question and answer session about ways to increase the fun and lower the stress around family gatherings. Submit your questions ahead of time or via chat. Recording will be available afterwards.

We care about your privacy!

To protect your privacy, no one other than Dr. Eileen and her helper will be visible on screen. Questions will be submitted during the event via chat or ahead of time, through an online form, and read by Dr. Eileen or her helper. Any identifying information will be edited out. This is a safe place for you to ask the questions you haven't been able to ask.

Obviously, Open Door for Parents is NOT psychotherapy. It's for educational purposes only about important topics facing families. The ideas mentioned by me or other community members may or may not be relevant for your particular situation.

I trust you to use your judgement about what makes sense for your child and your family and to consult your physician or a mental health provider, if needed, about very serious or complicated situations.
